You’ve Got Problems But This Party Game Ain’t One

Powered by Geek & Sundry

You know the drill in card party games. Pick your wittiest cards, play to the judge, earn fame and fortune, repeat. In You’ve Got Problems, from the same designer as Superfight and Red Flags, the game play is similar: Choose the two best perks in your cards, keeping the judge in mind, and place two in front of them. And then that’s where the problems begin—literally.

Like Red Flags, you get to add a problem card on top of what other players put down, giving you the priceless opportunity to troll your fellow players with abandon. In You’ve Got Problems, you compete to create possibly the worst problem ever to befall someone who seems to have it all.

You’ve Got Problems is currently on Kickstarter and met initial funding quickly, and with good reason. The problems cards are uniquely, hilariously terrible, and you’ll be eager to play them on your poor friends.

Each player chooses two perk cards with abilities almost anyone would love to have. “Always the most attractive person in the room” and “Your money doubles every day” are just two examples of a dream come true. Then the other players at the table play a problem card on top of your perks. Sure, you’re attractive and rich, but you also have to lick the ground to stay alive, for example. Then, the judge weighs their options. Which wonderfully terrible problem will the judge pick?

Like similar party games, it’s the incredible combination of hilarity and horror that makes this game both a one-of-a-kind conversation starter and a fun way to get to know each other. And with 600 cards in just the core deck, you’ll likely get a lot of use out of this party game.

What perk would you pick? Tell us in the comments.
